Mindfulness & Yoga

Each day we will have quiet moments where we relax and catch up with our thoughts and feelings through short mindfulness activities. Practicing mindfulness ‘has a host of benefits, including reduced stress and anxiety, improved sleep, better concentration and performance, less aggression, a decrease in symptoms of depression and a greater sense of self-esteem.’ (We are 2015) Through our experience we have seen the advantages of using Mindfulness activities with children from a young age and this makes up an important part of our programme. Our fully qualified Yoga facilitator will introduce children to different Yoga stretches and poses and cater for all abilities. She can also differentiate for younger children with a unique ‘Stretch and Grow’ programme.
